Move featured image to the left wordpress twenty fifteen

I was searching on Google for this and there are a lot of threads about this issue, however they are all very specific solutions for certain themes. I need a solution for the twenty fifteen theme.

Also is there a way to increase the featured image size limit? When I upload a picture higher than 600 it gets shortened.
