    Hey guys,

I am facing a little unique issue over here..My mousepad stops working when I try to recharge my laptop. Interestingly, it starts working immediately when I unplug the adapter. So, I am not able to work while my laptop is getting charged. I will have to wait till it's fully charged and then begin working again. Can someone offer some suggestion. Thanks!

I'm a little confused here. To my knowledge a mousepad is the mat that we put under the mouse right? How come its not working?

    he means the "Touch pad"..

try reinstalling the drivers and if you have taken lap top to pieces before I suggest you to clean it a bit from inside.. might help

ah.... touchpad - makes more sense. i was wondering how a mouse pad could ever fail  if it's a power related issue when charging etc then not sure if a driver would help. though must be the driver i guess or some winblowz config somehow, but afaik there's no seeing related to 'charging' only plugged-in or not...

i would backup all your important files on a portable hard drive then just reinstall the laptop after you've charged it to full battery power.

can you work with the touchpad even if it's working? i fuckin hate the touchpad (it is disabled most of the time on my lappy)
i always use a wireless external mouse (normal-seized) with separate back and forward button for faster browsing, more convenient, more faster
