Mountain View on my site like a rash!

So I checked the stats for one of my sites yesterday and noticed that Google Mountain View have been taking an increasing interest in this site the past few days:
There's been no shitty link building, only some good niche relevant blog comments, some manual link building (Wikipedia & a sprinkling of PR5 links), and the site sits at #7 in Google SERPs.

Only one visit today so far though.

What do you guys make of this? (obviously domain represents my actual domain that they searched for)

I should add - it has good onpage / onsite SEO, all social signals (active) and I've been getting it up week-by-week in the SERPs quite naturally. If anything it's a squeaky clean site (according to Clutt's version).

I believe what you have going on is the
manual review
by the
human quality rater team

I believe these reviews can happen for MANY reasons,
but MOSTLY if you hit page 1/2/3 of the serps for
a highly targeted keyword/phrase

You'll want to make sure everything looks REAL natural
with regard to the site content, links in links out, etc.

No worries, it's just Google bots (not humans)
You're getting much hits cause (either of 2, or both):
1. Your site has lots of traffic, so they visit it very often to see if anything is new.
2. You use Google feedburner / or other google rss feed
