Just want to know what you guys do to get yourself back together.

Every time I set my mind to do something, I am always motivated in the beginning, but after a while, the motivation goes away, and I just lose focus, and dont have that drive anymore. I am sure this happens to everyone, so want to know what do you guys do to get yourself back together, and once again focused and motivated.

A lot of people tend to lose motivation when you see no (immediate) return on your investment, whether it's in the form of entertainment, growth, or money. So, for me, it helps to really focus on what I'm working towards, or some fancy new toy that I will be able to reward myself with as I work toward my ultimate goal.

One my biggest motivators is seeing the money come in, so sometimes I'll work solely focusing on that first dollar. And then once I've made that, the motivation is self-sustaining because I'm convinced I can turn that one dollar into two...

We are all a little different, so find those things that seem to work best for you, and never compare yourself to someone else.

When you lose your focus, you could think of why is that? What happened in that project that made you less interested in that?

I have been involved in one business for years now, it hasn´t been easy, but I suppose the mixture that I don´t want to give up, I´m stubborn, and I really want to see the business grow no matter how much work would I be required to do, drives me forward. You usually always do those things best, where you have passion to do it even without the money it produces.

If you have no projects, where you wouldn´t have lost your focus, then you could just try to apply as much self-discipline as you can, and take the decision that you won´t give up on this one until you reach some feasible goal. Just like Enryu mentioned, once you reach that goal, things usually change, and your motivation feeds itself.

I have got more or less the same problem. Laziness+lack of motivation and lack of belief in myself :(
Anyway hope I will improve on it soon lol.

I tell myself that I hit the "wall" and that's what separates the winners from the losers. Then I just write down a list of things that I should do and power through it. Hopefully, you'll eventually see some results no matter how small and you'll get that motivation back again. Rinse and repeat.

But if that doesn't work, maybe take a day or 2 off and just relax for a while and clear your mind. Afterwards get back in the game and keep trying!

i remove the option to fail.

its good enough motivation for a month or so ;)

Print this photo and put in on your wall

    Then ask yourself

"Do I want to be that guy?"

I remember when I first started IM, I got demotivated so quickly.
That is because I didnt see any outcome of what I was doing. I failed miserably - yea - fucking miserably.
Not only did I not make any mention worthy amount of Money; I even invested Money in Tools etc, which never paid off.

But yea. Here I am now, earning more than I could have ever expected through online Businesses.
I now know, that all that previous time of failing was very important, and basically a learning phase.

    Just don't give up. :)
Even if you do not get any Amount of Money out of your current Project, its still Experience. And maybe it is exactly that Experience, that will pay off in the End. :)

You can restore motivation, but it's not possible to have 'that' drive all the time.

Working is hard because we have to do difficult part without motivation.

When we're all broke and want to give up.

As for me, I listen to music or Google these words "Nissan GT-R" : )

I keep in mind that whatever I do, is a challenge to myself. I think of it like that. So when I finally do it, I can look back and know I overcame what I thought I could never do.

And that's something not too many people do.
