Since I'm old enough to be most of your dad's, I can tell you this:

*CARS DONT MATTER IN THE BIG PICTURE OF LIFE*

I've had plenty of fancy sports cars in my life. Crashed two, got speeding tickets, high insurance cost, etc. They are more trouble than what they are worth.
I've owned a Saleen, Corvette, Bmw 3 and 5 series, Mercedes E and SLK classes.

And you know what?
*** Its like flushing your money down the toilet. ***

Nobody remembers you for the kind of car you drive. Even when you are gone from this planet.
They don't say when you are dead "Oh, I remember that guy. He was the one who drove that BMW 5 series".

No, they remember you for what you did.

Car? For me, its the horse with ten toes, Shank's pony

If i ever need to leave the house of course

HatIsBlack - couldnt agree with you more, HOWEVER, people under 25 are motivated more by the thought of their favorite car than a philosophical POV, albeit true.... So i say, pick your favorite car and know that anything is within reach if you work hard AND smart, which is where most people fall short. An example, strictly for others motivational support and not for personal boasting - Since I was a child I had always been obsessed with lamborghinis(particularly orange) and I promised myself I would have one someday. Long story short, after a few years of starting in the IM world, I was able to buy one around my 25th birthday. While I now realize the immaturity of it, I still would do it all over again and hope that others get motivated by WHATEVER MOVES YOU. It does not matter what it is that makes you tick, as long as it continually drives you towards hard work. The only other thing I would say, not to sound preachy, is that you will NEVER "succeed" if you are only motivated by your end goal(s). You will get burned out and eventually give up if you do not ENJOY the hunt, the mystery, and the game of trying to reach your goal(s). That is my promise to anyone and everyone. If you dont enjoy the work that you are doing then try something else until you find yourself EXCITED to work everyday. This sounds so cheasy, but most nights when I'm going to sleep, I honestly feel like the 10 year old me on christmas eve that is so excited for the next day that I have trouble falling asleep. I feel that way most of the time and can't sleep without medicine because I can't stop my brain from thinking about the endeavor I am involved in at the time, and ironically I get my best IM ideas and solutions during that time.

Moral of the cheesy story - Expect in your mind, that it's just a matter of time until each of your goals is met, instead of doubting yourself. And set MANY smaller goals along the way so that you get used to "winning", and before you know it, you will surpass your main goal and wonder why you thought it seemed hard in the first place :-)

Currently driving a Ford Crown Victoria. Dream car? Ferrari 458 Italia Spider

The car most driven by millionaires is the Ford f150. I'm getting one when I reach $1 mil. I guess rich people need a truck to haul their stuff :)

Sold the TTs because of the new baby I now drive a 2010 Mercedes-Benz cls 350 and I love it has some real grunt and drives like a dream.
