There are bots that work but you have to do a lot of testing with settings, accounts, proxies, and strategies.

What kind of budget are we talking about?
Proxy quality was the problem I had when I did something similar. You need very good proxies that are clean.

You have any good providers for 4g rotating mobile proxies? It's hard to tell the fraud score on some of these proxies.

I'm currently doing mother slave on browser with automation scripts.
It's working but not profitable.
What I did is
1. mix follow and unfollow action. Don't do like follow->follow->follow->follow .... unfollow->unfollow->unfollow->unfollow
I do like unfollow->follow->follow->unfollow->follow->
2. reply dm to someone time to time
3. if you write actual code script like with python. Use parallel function so that you can operate multiple profile at the same time. How many profile you can operate is up to your pc's cpu.
It's working but not profitable.

Go for 4g and Residential Proxies
Mother child is still possible and works great these days but not many are doing it due to its difficulty level
