Mother/slave explanation

Newbie here.

Can anyone explain to me what mother/slave or mother/child means? I've come across it in a few posts in relation to social media accounts. But I don't know what is meant by that or what it's purpose is.

mother means your main account and slave/child is a alt account who's only purpose is to send traffic or people to that main account While using its own reach or by doing some actions like following people It's a very handy technique because with this you don't have to do anything that can cause harm to your main aka mother account since you are not doing any actions on that mother account your are using slave/child Which are disposable and even if they get banned you can just have more and also you can use as many as slave/child acc as you like
