Hey I was just wondering how your personal experience is with social networks and if you have been using twitter, instagram etc, then which one of all these have been most profitable? I couldn't find any thread that answered my question so I started a new one.

In my opinion, IG is probably the easiest to make money from. There are many ways to monetize IG traffic and it also helps that it has a high engagement rate compared to the other social networks.

No way, you can't post links on IG posts, you can only say to visit your profile and click on the link which is a hassle for most people. IMO Twitter is the most profitable and the future of Social networks, since FB started adding post reach limits and pushing you to pay. Pinterest and Tumblr are way smaller than Twitter.

Twitter and Facebook are the best as they are optimized for marketing, instagram doesn't allow links or have a desktop platform or it would really be one of the best.

I think the problem with IG is that, for the majority of accounts, the only way to make real money is through doing promos for other IG accounts since you can't post links, and that's a little...schemy. Sure, some companies buy promos, but they're buying them from a small percentage of accounts.

The obvious problem with Facebook is that your posts only show up in the news feeds of 35% of your friends.

To me, personal experience aside and just looking at it from a rational viewpoint, Twitter is hands down the most profitable. Every one of your followers sees your content, you can post links, and you can also monetize through promos like you would with Instagram.

I haven't tried pinterest or tumblr so I don't know about those.

I think Facebook and Google+. Facebook may be getting harder for affliates to use, but its the biggest social media out there. Google+ is the darling of Google. It's awesome for SEO. Plus its easier to get customer engagement there. Circles there are relatively better as they are free from spam links.

I think youtube is best way to earn money and then fb & twitter.
You can upload alot videos on youtube and earn in tons if you have hq videos & niches

If you can get access to a big account, then IG is easy to make money with.

In my Opinion Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest. But its depends on Niche, Business/ Marketing Policy & Country.

Example: For my Local Tech & Freelance News Portal Facebook is best the place to promote.
