Google Adsense has a page estimating how much a blog can potentially earn annually in US dollars.

It calculates from 3 parameters: region (Americas; Europe middle East and Africa; or Asia Pacific),page views per month and niche.

Most profitable with 50k monthly page views is:
North and south America.
Niche home and garden
It says you could earn 8k USD anually.

Is it true that niche is that profitable?

Comparing with another categories in the Americas with 50k monthly page views:
Health 2000 usd
Jobs & Education 1800
Pets 1400
Real state 1600
Shopping 1600
Sports 600

50k monthly for $8k annually? Somehow I doubt this data. It's all crap now with adsense earnings.
 
Home and garden is a lucrative industry.
Those numbers might be accurate.

However, I would confirm with other sources and data like CPC of specific keywords and ideally speaking with website owners in the industry.
 
If you ask me the 4 parameters would be
1) us and Canada not Americas
2) Europe and Middle East
3) Africa and Latin America
4) South East asia

The one it has is based on time zones the one I am giving you is based on economic zones.
50k for 8k is like
50k for 8000/12 = 666.66$ per month
10k for 133$
Sounds about right.

10k traffic from US and Canada will give you about 100$ per month for any niche not just gardening.
 
Yes, the Home and Garden niche can be quite profitable, especially in North and South America.
 
I my opinion gaming is best niche for blogging because you will get lots topics and news daily that rank very quickly. Believe me it is very effective, easy and fast way to get traffic, for this you don't need to have lot of knowledge in fact you can use other blogs and articles.
 
Yes, it true that niche of home and garden is profitable in Americas with 50k monthly page views. You could earn 8k USD annually. Other categories like Health, Jobs & Education, Pets, Real state, Shopping, and Sports earn less than Home and garden niche. So, it is good niche to earn money.

Build your skills first.
Then share deep research guides to attract your potential audience.
 
These numbers are probably a good estimate, but adsense revenue can really change a lot depending on things like how much traffic your site gets, the quality of your content, and how engaged your audience is.
 
Tech and finance would earn more. But these 2 niches are not even mentioned in this comparison.
 
Making money online has always been a hot topic for me. I'm just trying to help newbies and I also cover topics like "How to make money in your free time.
 
Weight loss is another high-demand niche worldwide. You can find lots of keywords and ideas about that.

I didn't include all the categories that Google provides. They're in the calculator I provided in the link in the first post.

Finance would provide 2.000 USD anually.

Regarding tech, Google lists the following categories and profit:
Computers & Electronics 2.600 USD anually.
Internet & Telecom 1.600 USD anually.
Online Communities 1.000 USD anually.

Unfortunately, I cannot add them to the main post.

I think gaming is a good niche for blogging. New games and news come out every day. So, you always have something to write about. These topics can get traffic fast. You don’t need to be an expert. Just read other blogs and write in your own way. It’s easy and works well.

And how do you promote a videogame blog? Or just doing SEO?
What kind of videogames would you recommend to talk about?
 
In my point of view there are lots of profitable niche around the world.
So don't bother with niche and waste your time, be skilled. When you can play with marketing/traffic there is no barrier or limit for you.

Don't be FOACUSED on NICHE, be FOCUSED on SKILL.
