A few weeks ago I read a book called the slight edge, its not new by any means however it changed my entire outlook on life. I no longer look for some next new quantum leap to take to success. I now realize that success is a process and I must take action in small steps over a long period of time to achieve my goals.

I have been achieving 10x more in my days after reading this, Ive never had a shift in my paradigm like this before.

What book has changed your outlook on life?

Well, I've read a lot of great books. Sperm wars, Psychocybernetics, Think & Grow Rich, Blink, Art Of Seduction, 48 Laws of Power, The Ultimate Salesletter, The Unfair Advantage - Learn To Sell with NLP, Frogs Into Princes, Cashvertising, etc etc. But the 1 book that moved me the most was 4 Hour Work Week.

I don't know why. I just know I've reread that book 3 times and I never read a book 3 times.

I think it has to do with the clarity, transparency, the details, the resources, the mindset.... it was a very well written book. And after I read that book I got into marketing. I was looking for a job at the time but read that book, got the idea to start selling web design, found WF, and make $4,000 by my second month. Just by cold calling and cold walking into businesses.

That was the most money I ever made in a month back then, and ever since then I've never filled out another job application in my life.

So looking back, I'd have to say that book impacted me more than anything.... as far as business that is. As far as sex goes, Sperm Wars ranks #1.

I have to agree with BB here, even though the book is not liked by many, and it has its flaws (some even say the books is one big flaw), but it is an extremely well written book in my opinion. It certainly motivated me a lot, and that is why I would say it's the most influential book. Not the best, but the most influential definitely.

I just realized I haven't picked up other than poker and math books for 6 years now. Harrington on cash games vol 1 is something I've read the most in my life though and his theory is probably why I'm not a gambling degenerate right now. Thought a lot to me about patience and consistent inconsistency.

The bible, i strongly recommend it, it provides peace of mine and great insight.

"For what shall it profit a man to gain the world but lose his soul"
"The Love of money is the root of all evil"
