If I am were in place of you, then I shall use manual method for building links to rank in SERPS.

I'd work on Youtube comment arbitrage as much as possible.
That's a technique I see all these high traffic movie sites using. Just check out the comments of all the popular movie trailers and you'll see tons of comments funneling traffic back to their sites.
