This is directed to businesses offering both services and products... and to the marketing companies that consult with your local businesses... What have you found to be the most effective OFFLINE form of advertising for the business(TV, Radio, newspaper, Print, etc...)?

Great question, I'm also interested to know. Only one I can think of is Adstruc for outdoor banners.

Started offline some time back:

1. Outdoor banners (if you have office or some space this is a must ! so people know about you)
2. Radio (at special time broadcasts, for example we got local radio station and every day there is special time for sell/offer/buy stuff)
3. TV (tho cost is a lot but audience is massive)
4. Newspaper (short reach if you are in small town/area)
5. Mouth to mouth (that don't sound right lol, but If you are good with what you are doing/offering people will come)
6. Website optimization for region related keywords
7. Some advertising on FB (region/city wise)
8. Adwords (if you can afford to spend some extra cash)

These are not in TOP/BOT order but for me it's 1,6,7

This question is probably best directed at media buyers, but based on my time in direct response call centers there really is no hard and fast rule to this. It really comes down to measuring response on dollars spent. You also have to consider where these prospects are being funneled to, i.e. is it to a call center, or directly to the business itself, a website, a store-front. There is just so much to this. It really comes down to identifying the metrics you are hoping to maximize, and developing reporting procedures that allow you to make the determination based on your specific goals.

That's very different for example for a paper clip business than it is for a personal injury lawyer. So there are a lot of things one needs to consider in answering your question, and it really wouldn't be prudent to provide a blanket answer to a non-blanket question.

This is it.
Would add the youtube promo video creation/promotion, twitter ads and maybe even some CPA.

Vehicle Wraps produce 30,000-90,000 impressions daily! That works out to roughly $30-$50 a month.

My most effective offline marketing platform....
Identify some prospects in my sector....PICK UP the phone, dial the prospect...introduction...qualify myself briefly, ask GOOD questions, identify their NEED and go for the kill.
