So im finding that a lot of the stuff that used to work really well, just isnt getting me any results anymore.

Directory links - not doing anything for me
Profile links - not doing anything for me
Forum links - not doing anything for me

Ive heard that High PR links no longer work (or at least no longer have the weight they used to), I dont know how true that is....?
Many of the high PR links I used to have have vanished....

What about Web 2.0 sites, and linkwheels, are any of you having success with those?
In the past I have had great success with them, but the suppliers started to get too expensive, and I found other methods were then working better.

Do you have any other services or suggestions that are getting faster results?

Fed up with spending money on services only to find my rankings dont budge, or they actually go down....

Forum profiles definitely don't have the impact they once had. Unless you created on profiles on PR 6+, they won't help in my opinion.

I personally think high PR blog commenting (PR 5+) helps, just as long as you point them to each other to give more juice.

Just my 2 cents.

Trouble with that is you create an obvious footprint....

Has anyone tried this Google +1 link thing?
You see the +1 buttons on sites everywhere now, and I read that just having on the site even without the votes helps, (although I seriously doubt it as I have added it to my site and seen no effect)
But has anyone actually tried buying +1 clicks? How many would be needed to make a difference? 100, 1000, 10000? Anyone got any experience with this?
Where is the best/ cheapest place to buy +1 clicks?

I made 5 guest posts - 100% unique and my site went from 2nd page to ranked 3rd. I make a new 700 word + post 1 time a week...

I've been saying it forever - guest posts are where its at

It's alway good to have a mixture of links to show diversity. IMO the KEY links for your website should be high pr contextual keyword back links.

are you talking about guest blogging?
Or something else, please pm me if you dont want to explain on an open forum...

I have never tried guest posting.

How do you go about this? Contact owners of blogs in your niche and offer to write an article on a subject of there choice? Then say only catch is the article must contain a link to my site?

Web 2's - either one or two layers, with well spun articles, blasted with SB, still work fine. Of course some web2's will drop as heavy moderation is on the increase, but there are so many that you can always have some spare.

Outsourcing can be difficult as many suppliers don't understand the concept, probably the best bet would be to create a detailed manual and teach somebody on Odesk or such and hire them full time - it would cost you $300-400 / month, or you can hire for a particular task.

If you hire a pro - better be prepared to shell out big bucks as it takes more and more effort (and smarts) to do it right. Also - pro services are not created equal, so you need to do your d/d.

I was just researching that same thing and found this site:

Going back to the Google +1 thing, has anyone tried buying the +1 clicks?
What effect if any has it had?

Anyone on BHW sell +1 clicks?
Better still anyone on here sell UK specific +1 clicks?

I have also seen good results through guest blogging. I had another blogger email me recently with a very well written offer to write a guest post for my blog. She took the time to actually read my previous posts and make suggestions of articles she would write that pertained to my industry. In addition, she attached examples of previous guest posts she had written for other blogs. I would imagine she has a very high success rate going about it that way. Everyone is looking for original content and giving someone a link is a small price to pay for it IMHO.

Im still hoping that someone will know something abourt the benefit of Google+1 clicks...

it is a very good idea, but it is one of those things that you need to sit down and carefully do yourself. If you leave it to others you will end up with a badly written bit of rubbish that no one will accept. You should see the rubbish quality of the articles that my link builders write...

Totally agree with you. Most of it is spun crap. I tried a service on here to write some articles for me that people raved about. When I received the articles they weren't readable. I couldn't have even gone through and made corrections that would work. I have used a link builder/article marketing service on here in the last week that wrote a great article. I plan to use them more in the future. Hope all of their work is that good. If you want more info just PM me.

You can find them with scrapebox...
Or plenty of people sell lists of auto approve High PR blogs...

So Does no one know anything about Google +1?

There is a service in the BST section that offers exactly what your looking for with regards to the +1. Haven't tried it yet, but talked and the guy seems to know what he is doing.

Private High PR Network = Answer!

So Does no one know anything about Google +1?

I've talked to vendors who swear it does. I used it on 3 different sites and saw no changes. Had another vendor tell me they have to be from verified gmail accounts to get anything out of it. No idea if mine were or not.

Honestly it seems to easy to game for google to put much weight on it. What I would like to see is aged accounts that are part of the google+ network connected to real people. Than I would be more willing to use the services.

This is where it's at. Hard to find them though. I belong to a couple and noticed good SERP movement using them but I want to branch out into other private networks for even better gains.
