What are some of the most depressing songs you ever heard?

For me it has to be whiskey lullaby its a country song about cheating, drinking and suicide.


The song Remember When is also depressing, but personally I don't think its as much as whiskey lullaby.

I find madness songs really depressing.
 
I think it depends on your mood and your memory that related to the somgs. ABBA - Happy New Year is such a desperate depressing song but most people do not recognize it.




 
A bit of Sufjan Stevens will get you in the zone when you are out doing roadwork.

 
They played Jeff Buckley's version of Hallelujah at Mom's funeral. She specifically requested "Hallelujah from Shrek"... and Dad didn't know any better so that's how it went on the funeral program haha.

Still have not been able to listen to that song since. It started playing in a grocery store once a couple months back. I left my cart and bailed quick.

And I Will Follow You Into The Dark by Death Cab for Cutie.
And Little Talks by Of Monsters and Men. That one is rough if you listen to it.
 
Saddest song I've ever heard was the False Song of Globalism.
