more traffic

Hey everyone,

I have started a content locking project using youtube to drive traffic. My problem is, my videos arent getting any views! I have uploaded around 20 - 30 videos to 6 diferent accounts in the past few days and I have only gotten like 3 click to my content locker. Each of my videos has only gotten around 1 or 2 views after a few days. Why are my videos doing so badly? Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get more views?

What kind of videos are you putting up? Are they actually good videos or do they look like spammy crap?

can you share the video links? The video content might not be interesting and there might exists video already.

I found that its much harder to get traffic for videos these days :/

Like other people are saying, chances are a mixture of the following :
A) Your videos simply don't convert
B) They look spammy
C) You're using over saturated tags
D) You're keywords/tags have zero impression on google
There's about a ton of questions you need to be asking yourself. I would start First with the videos, are they good? Are people intrigued or do they want 30 seconds of their life back? From there, are the words you've tagged, the keywords you're trying to nail, the name of the video itself and the words in the description helping you show up. The latter (keywords/names/tags) get people in the door, the video gets them to turn over to your site.

Actually maybe my videos look spammy. what I did was leech other videos in the same niche that are doing the same thing. these videos had comments and views, so I figured mine would also. I reuploaded the videos with the same titles and tags, and just edited the description to include my link. Could that be the problem?

That would explain it. Spend some money on Fiver gigs for a few videos, just search 'video intro' and there's a few there. I'm guessing 30-45 seconds per video is enough. Use unique tags and descriptions. You're wasting your time if you're going to try and rank for something that someone already did with duplicate content.

Videos leeched from YT are encoded with a YT signature, so YT knows they were previously uploaded and belong to someone else. You usually won't get anywhere by reuploading them as is. Re-encoding them to a different format before reuploading usually will clear the signature.

Firstly, is your video spammy looking? Does it look professional? Does it at least provide valuable content?

Secondly, ensure that the keywords that your users may look for are in the title and description of the video. Oh yeah, also the tags

Third, if you want more clicks, start spreading the links to your channel or the videos itself around the web in relevant places.
