Hi
I cant figure this out my site shot up in google SERPS (first page closer to the top) and I'm getting MORE visitors BUT not a single conversion (so far) I used to get like 1 in every 5-10 now it's like 20-30 amd no conversions.. It's very targeted and all this is coming form Google..

My only theory is that being higher could make it worse..

Because people read 7 review before they buy (just a number I read) so since my website is one of the first they go to someone eldest websites and click there link after and then buy..

What do u guys think?

Are you basing this on 20-30 hits only? That's not enough no matter what your niche.

And yeah as a general rule conversions are better when you're farther down the serps but it depends on lots of things. When you're #7 and people are visiting your site they're probably actually looking at the listings and if you're #1 they're more likely to be just clicking.

What you should be concerned with is your actual earnings over time, not the conversion ratio.

Does anyone else see this? (that conversions are better when your lower down..)

i dont think it matters how many reviews someone reads before they buy. To be honest with you i believe your conversions are going to be higher the less you sound like you want to push the product as a sale.
