I have been sending some SAPE links to my website, working good, 3 out of 4 keywords ranking in the top 5 in Google. I want to add more links. Would you send the links to the same keywords to try and rank the existing keywords higher or go for new keywords?
Rank existing keywords - may go higher, may not, may cause a penalty and attacks from competitors. Obviously massive increase in traffic if I go from 5 to 2 or 1. Big IF though.
Rank new keywords - new keywords may rank or may not, may not be as profitable. Or could rank and bring money in.
Also, I'm finding traffic has dropped around 40% for my website, even though rankings have remained constant. I've checked specifically US traffic as well, so it's not that rankings have dropped somewhere else on other Google country search engines.. So to clarify; rankings have remained pretty constant in Google.com, yet US traffic has dropped in the last week, anyone had that before? Is it just fluctuations to be expected? Seems a big drop to me and I'm confused. Obviously a drop in traffic means a drop in revenue, which is never good.
