More Relevant Adsense Ads?

Hi everyone, I have a adsense site (more like page) with adsense ads on with about a paragraph about employment at the bottom- this was my attempt at getting more targeted relevant adsense ads showing up. This has not worked. I have unchecked the option where adsense can show ads based on their previous browsing/history too.

Does anyone have any ideas how I can get more relevant adsense ads? thanks

You can show relevant ads on your blog in case there are advertiser in the pool who are advertising on the keyword you're focusing.
I advice to go for the most profitable adsense keywords and then write unique and focused content on that.

How I understand this, they actually DO display relevant ads but you are trying to game their ad-delivery to higher paying ads with inserting text that is not relevant to the rest of the page/article. Is that right?
What is your website/blog/page about in general?
