More Quality or More Quantity?

it's more important to get more of something than to get a few things that are high quality.

My suggestion will be 3 to 4 articles with 1000+ words, you can rank some more keywords with longer and informational articles.

I always choose Quality... You can engage person that read your articles for longer, also google prefers longer content with more information.

The answer is always quality over quantity. However, we should take note that everyone’s opportunities are different, so the key seems to be staying in the middle. I agree with people replying above - there is no point posting dozens of articles no one would want to read just for the sake of getting those indexed pages. Try settling somewhere between this and your ideal situation and publish a 700 words article every 2 days, for example.
 
As quality always matters over quantity but now everyone said that google loves long content, so you should definitely go with long + quality content.
 
My most popular article was just under 14,000 words. Yet another popular one was 1,500. Different topics, but original popular content. You won’t get anywhere with a 250 word summary, because you wouldn’t have the space to explain in depth. It has to be quality, of a minimum length, a popular topic and provide experience, or knowledge.
 
Quality content, 1000+ words of well-researched content is always your best bet.

I had 25k low Quality backlinks that done rly nothing. Go for quality over quantity
 
You need to strike some balance, although quality should tip the scales more in its favour, 60-40 or so. I'd recommend to focus on quality to a level where your reader is served something new regularly.
 
I would say that this is in part context dependent based on what users in your niche are looking to read.
 
I think longer articles will be better for SEO purpose. They will also rank faster.
 
Definitely quality, preferably go with high quality content, dont get compromise with your quality. Make sure your content make user to engage for a long hours. Quantity with no quality does not result. Indexing a lot of worthless content/pages will not boost your DA. There wont be any impact.
