There is an old saying that behind every successful person is a horde of haters who want him to fail. I actually thank my haters because they are like fuel for me to work even harder and become more successful.

I think that when you are in this line of business people find it hard to belive how much money you can make.
I comparison with people who did everything right, went to school got degrees and got a good paying job and then make moderat money, its just to easy to read up on stuff and figure out something simple and make as much without all the hassle. I dont make huge amounts of money just yet. But i get by and make more than most of my friends. And i notice that even tough they dont say it, they dont think i deserve it. Because its to easy.

Isn't it rude to tell people how much money you are making?
People like to hear and brag.
If you are actually making decent money, keep it a secret. Avoid buying a big house or nice car. You will get alot of unwanted attention and its a hassle to deal with, trust me.

Alot of wealthy people where I live,that have more money then probably 99.99% of BHW members,drive toyota camry's and honda accords.
Maybe they are afraid to live their life?

No they are just real frugal with their money,its one of the reasons why they have so much money.

It's a good point tho' how much is Bill Gates hated. The funny thing is by despising the wealthy they are denying it for themselves. Subconsciously they are saying "I wouldn't want to be him" and this is learned from their internal dialogue.

People start hating you when you start bragging about your money and not giving them anything. If you keep your success to yourself, you will always have haters.
A great example would be this:
You figure out a method which is earning you 10 000$/day, you brag about how much money you have and not share anything - you create haters
You figure out a method which is earning you 10 000$/day, you help a bunch of other people to come to the same goal - you create friends.
People start hating you when you start bragging about your money and not giving them anything. If you keep your success to yourself, you will always have haters.

Unless i specifically ask I think so....I have aguy near me every time he talks to me first thing is how much his compnay is doing, money, etc....I never once asked him. I just roll my eyes. Yet to him it seems like it is everything in the world.

Let's face it..say your best frirnd won $10m on the lotto tomorrow....how would you feel? I'd be gutted. Why him and not me? Watching his joy and excitement and new found wealth (no work). Deep down I'd be quite depressed.
Then imagine him talknig about buying his new $1m mansion, dream car, retiring, holidays etc...and you look at your lifestyle. You wouldn't like it. This is why friendships break down after such events.

Telling others what you make is fine and normal, but it depends on the circumstances.
Telling your business friends what you're making with a new venture is fine and an interesting discussion, but telling your friend who's working at mcdonalds you're making $20k/mo is just lame
Why are you even telling these people what you do? How do they know so much as to think you don't deserve it and it's easy? You must have been exaggerating what you've done to make your money too, because IM is just as hard as any other business, it's just a bit more accessible that's all.
I don't understand why people feel the need to tell their friends every detail about their online activities. I don't ask my friends every detail of what they do, no one does. If your friend tell you she's a secretary you don't start digging to find out every detail about their job.
I've never in my life started asking detailed questions about someone's business after they told me they own their own business. That's VERY rude. It's like asking someone how much they make. Anyone who does that has stepped over the line and you're well within your rights to not answer and play the question down.
It's enough to tell people you run an ecommerce business, or a media company, or a marketing business. You don't ever say "you make money online". People immediately put you in the same respect category as someone who's won the lottery or who has rich parents.
When you say a marketing company, people will ask at most what that is and you just say you manage marketing campaigns for online companies. Simple. No one will care to dig deeper than that and you'll have respect as a proper business person and not some guy in his pajamas clicking a button and cashing out.
Bill Gates is only hated by jealous idiots and it has absolutely 0 bearing on his life. He's liked by a great many people, way more than most people.
He brought easy computing to the masses. Without microsoft we wouldn't have the world using computers and buying stuff online. Before windows computers were only for geeks but with his vision he brought computers to the masses and without that we wouldn't be sitting here making money online.
I'd be relieved it was him and not me and be worried for my friend.
Money does NOT bring happiness. The joy and excitement of having unlimited money soon turns to boredom and depression when you realize that you have everything there is in life and, wait a second, you still don't have that magical inner peace that you thought you'd have. Oh shit. What's left to do now? Major depression. Hm, I may as well do drugs and extreme stuff.
You just have to look at people who inherited and won money to see this.
It's not money that brings happiness, it's success. Earning $500 million from scratch brings with the success that you've overcome all difficulties the world has to offer and taken complete control of your existence. That feeling creates a mild inner peace.
Most people are unhappy financially because they have stress over paying bills. All people need is enough income so they don't have to worry about paying bills and can take the occasional holiday. Beyond that more toys won't help.. Think about it. Imagine you gave an average car to someone 200 years ago. It would be INCREDIBLE to them. The ultimate toy. Yet why are average cars to us boring? Why do we crave Lamborghinis? Do you think after a couple years in a lambo you would feel any different about it to a regular car?
This is why most people who come to blackhatworld to make money fail. They want money, money for toys and crap. They feel unhappy with their lives and think money will change it, then when they don't immediately make a quick buck they get more depressed.
The ones who succeed just want to take control of their lives and build a good business so they can have the freedom to enjoy what life has to offer, but they're generally already happy and know the best things in life are people and the natural beauty of earth.
