More money=More haters!!!

During the past year, my income has grown over %900, going from a homeless guy living on the street to finally getting the chance to pursue my music career in Cali.

One thing I have noticed was that the more successful I get, the more successful I look, the weirder people get around me. I mean, its really strange to me, but I keep getting this vibe of (Please Fail) or (don't get more successful than me) from people I know.

But thats not even why I'm writing this thread. There is another phenomenon I have noticed, and I wanted to get the opinion of some of you guys who are making at least over 400 a day when BH marketing on this statement:

Have you notice that the more successful your marketing efforts are, the more enemies you make online?

I mean, something I've noticed:

Some people like Howie, but ALOT of people hate him too!
Some people like Kern, but ALOT of people don't like him either.
Same with mark jorner
same with Joe Vitile
and the list goes on.......

Yet these guys bring in untold amounts of money monthly.

So my question: Are any of you guys seeing a correlation between your success and the hate that comes along with it, not just from friends, but from people you don't even know, including people you've blackhatted online. Let me know your thoughts!

Yes, people would also make sarcastic statements, use you for stuff, and come to you when they have a problem.. for example, friend of mine just got locked up, and had a bail, so his wife called me in asking for some money, its hard to say no to a friend, but I know for a fact I wouldn't get the call if they didn't know I got money.

Its all natural, best thing to do is not to show you got money and be yourself, even though you know you can get some fine looking girls with money, that don't mean they care about you.

Couldn't agree more. When my friends ask me how I work online I tell them its very hard to explain to someone how doesn't understand basics of internet marketing..and they take it offensively.

There is an old saying that behind every successful person is a horde of haters who want him to fail. I actually thank my haters because they are like fuel for me to work even harder and become more successful .

There's 2 kinds of people in this world (not rlly)...
Ones who make money and ones who complain about people making money. Those who make money actually have the brain power to pick up a pen and put a plan together. Those who complain sit on the couch and talk about how they hate their job.

Therefore, don't blame yourself OP, people don't change because you've made more money. They've always been that way, and it's just that they're jealous.

Yeah, I hate Tony Hayward because he is richer than me and can go on Yacht races while a major disaster caused by his company's negligence is taking place.. .I hate him I hate him! LOL

But Yeah, it is only normal people hate those who achieve success one way or the other, nothing out of the ordinary there...

Well, no one in my life has any idea how much money I make so it hasn't impacted my relationships at all. It is no ones business and talking about money is tacky so I just avoid the subject. If people ask me what I do I tell them I put websites on page 1 of Google. That generally shuts them up but if they ask more questions that generally gets me a new client.

i prefer more haters.LoL.Things will change after you have much money,right? but i prefer money rather than poor.Thouth it is hard to make money for a newbie,so hard.I wish good luck waiting for me.

well lets assume that the ratio of people who like you to people who don't like you stays constant. if we increase the total number of people that know you exist, then the total number of people that dislike you is also going to go up.

Life is about competition! We are socialized to hold hands and sing kumbaya, but ultimately we all are competing against each other for EVERYTHING! Jobs, money, social status, women, and power.

I can honestly say that I like earning more than my friends. I love kicking life's arse! Tony Robbins said that you should find friends that are so successful that it makes you uncomfortable... This will help you to get on your grind!

COuldnt say it better myself. that is why people i talk to and hang around with are way way richer than me, and i can tell the mind set it 100% different than those that dont have money.

@adam.norris - just tell them you are a truck driver. they will appreciate you more and definitely won't ask for any money, because they don't think you have any. ;-)

@mikehustle not sure that i agree with anthony robbins on that particular point (although i like him very much), but i truly believe that we CREATE our own destiny and hanging around anyone: rich or poor is only gonna bring us what we have created. So if we hang around rich minded, yet our mind is still stuck in miniscule mire - that is where we will

Imagine you have 4 friends. One of them suddenly attains those "Get Successful" seminars. What do you and the other friends usually do? Without a doubt, we will dissuade him saying things like "OH common', that's a scam... don't fall for it."
Then behind his back, we will 'badmouth' him saying he's dumb to fall for such 'scams'.

Suddenly one day, that friend of yours really became successful. Now what happens? The group feels inferior and says he has become arrogant.

The reason why they dissuade him is because they feel insecure. Yes, they and not that guy who attends the seminars. They suddenly feel someone is lost in the group (whether he is a joker or loser). The next is our ego - we always want to be better than anyone. If we realize that someone is better than us, we will no doubt be jealous and envious. People who don't envy or feel jealous aren't human at all.

Yeah, learnt that from an article I read online sometime ago. Well said though.


I guess that is why most affluent or rich people hang out only with their kind. Perhaps due to the difference in lifestyle and mindset.

The more money you have/make you'll begin to hang out with a different social class. The haters will still be around, but the people you hang with will be interested in different things. Like making more money.

this is so true...i have friends that i met in hschool that have that down and out mentality, just drink beers chill and i have friends i met either in college or after that want to do it big, party hard, work hard and they live fun lives and make good $

That doesn't really work when you're driving about in a porsche with a $5000 suit and a rolex submariner, does it?

You can't hide your wealth from people around you unless you act like someone without money. No clothes, no car, no eating out, no holidays.. What's the point in that?

You can't have friends that have significantly less money than you. It doesn't work unless you're willing to pay for them. What happens when you want to go into town for some browsing around the shops? Will you want to look at the same stuff? Nope

What about when you're going out for a meal? They won't be able to join you. Going on holiday? They also won't be able to join you.

Money creates a divide between friends unfortunately. Even if you had friends that didn't take advantage of you paying for everything, eventually they would come to expect you to pay. That would just feel not right and create a strange relationship.

You need friends who are making similar levels of money to you. Or at least who can afford the same lifestyle.

There's not much difference between someone making $1k/day and someone making $10k/day though. Once you reach a certain level, unless the person making $10k/day is extreme you'll be doing similar things.

But someone making $1k/day won't be able to maintain relationships with friends making $100/day.

Even the things people talk about. Most people moan about work, their boss, their colleagues, the price of electricity, the price of fuel and so on. People making $1k/day don't care about any of these things and they certainly wouldn't spend their time moaning about them. At $1k/day you're more interested in talking about business, the economy, nice restaurants, cool places to visit, general positive stuff going on in the world that you can now take part in.


So really the solution if you're finding people around you acting weird is to just do yourself a favor and make new friends.

On a more serious note, I think you will always be able to find true friends. By true friends I mean anyone whom you can talk to and relate to without them being jealous or spiteful, and being understanding of each other. Screw the rest, they aren't really your friends.
