I have noticed over the last week or so that I am starting to see less GPlace results in "ServiceName city" or "ServiceName in city".
Instead I see local businesses website in the SERPS instead of the places. Do you think this is a move by Google to try and bump local businesses to build sites versus just relying on GPlaces?
I already know that GPlaces gets a lot of it's weight from the business website, but I believe this is starting to re-enforce the idea. Just thought I would toss that out there incase anyone is trying to sell GPlace rankings on those naming conventions.
