More Backlinks - all site's keywords rank higher in Google?

I remember reading somewhere about this.
So let's say your site is abc.com. but your site contains a to z.

So if you build a lot of backlinks (even if it's all "abc" anchor names), your other keywords (d to z) will have effect too? So if a user searches xyz.. your site will rank higher.


Is it true?

Yes if you build links to your inside page and help them rank better. this will also bring up the total site on the web in search terms.

So many people stop and doing seo on the first page of a site. When you should build it on all your pages and expand your keyword area that you can cover. It takes a little longer but will pay off big time down the road.
