As a retired teacher I'm always on the look for different methods of teaching, both online and off. Today I found Moodle or "Modular Object-Oriented Dynamic Learning Environment". It is a free open source application to create web-based or Internet e courses. While I've not had a decent look at it yet, I thought I would share this with like-minded people who would like to start on line courses. The url is
.
I haven't read the terms of use as yet. I'm presuming that because of its open source nature Moodle can be used commercially with the provision that any alterations made to moodle must be shared with the Moodle community.
There is a lot of documentation available for Moodle and there appears to be a large user base.
