I saw this before but have you tried it?

Haven’t used it myself, but the workflow looks interesting would be good to see some real output before judging it

I did a quick test and overall it’s actually pretty good. One thing: the version shown in the screenshot/site (v1.2.6) gave me TTS 403 errors, so I’d recommend downloading the latest release directly from GitHub instead. The current v1.3.5 worked fine for me. On my VPS, generating a 45 sec short took around 12-13 minutes.

The main limitation is the video source. Pexels, Pixabay and Coverr can work well for broad topics, but for more specific keywords they may not have enough relevant footage. In my shark test, Pexels was clearly the best, while Pixabay/Coverr were much less accurate.

There are also AI video options such as WaveSpeed AI Video and Shengsuan Cloud AI Video, which should potentially give much more accurate visuals because the clips are generated from the script instead of pulled from stock libraries. I haven’t tested those yet because they require paid API access/subscriptions.

For more accurate videos without relying on paid AI video generation, I think the best setup would be to scrape/download relevant footage about the exact topic and use those files as the video source, then let MPT handle the voiceover, subtitles, music and editing.

Still, for automated faceless content production, it’s pretty impressive for the amount of work it saves. Thanks for the share!
