Money Site - Definition/Example Please

I understand the basic concept of a money site. --> Your main site in which you will be making money. The site that all of your backlinks and work "eventually" direct to. The top of the "pyramid".

And i get the concept of tier 1, tier 2....

What i don't understand is exactly how a money site should be set up. You purchase a domain name based on your keyword research. But then what? Do you create just 1 page with your ads directly on that? Or do you have several pages in that domain?

For example i am looking at this free template using CSS and XHTML:

Do i set this as my xxxxxx.com and then create separate pages off of that, based on my keyword?
Do i put ads on those pages as well?
Do all of my tier 1 links point to the main xxxxx.com or do they point to the secondary pages as well?

EDIT:
in the example link i gave should i be putting ads on JUST the "home page" and "booking" page?
and where should all my content based on the keyword go?
or do i not even need content on this page, all of the content is coming from my tier 1 and tier 2 pages?

Advertise on BHW
Your money site can be anything that has the potential to earn money: a one page affiliate offer, an info blog with advertisements or an ecommerce site for example. These sites all have different setups but that doesn't matter. The main thing is that you want visitors on the pages that can make you money.
 
ok good. because i thought i read somewhere that 1 page money sites weren't good. But that's what i wanted to do. just a professional looking page, short description and ad block.

You should have innovative ideas. I'm giving you some example here.

After creating a Site - you'll get one Option to earn money through Adsense. But for that - you need proper SEO & Constant visitors. So for that - you've to do lots of research or you can hire some SEO Consultancy - like US.

2nd Option - Make your website a online Shop; start affiliate marketing or sell some items online. By this - you can earn a huge money.

There are other options too - but that's secret.
 
I'm thinking of just keeping it simple at first.
1 keyword --> 1 domain name --> 1 chitika ad block

and focus all my SEO work toward that keyword(s)
 
but does anyone have any examples (i realize not of their own sites) of a 1 page Money Page that is high up on the SERPs, receives heavy traffic and makes money through ad blocks?

That is probably not going to be easy. Google does not like those kinds of sites and therefore they hardly ever rank high in the serps. If you want to make a 1 page site then you are better of with other traffic sources ( and other monitization methods).
 
Money site is your site that is earning you money.

Say you have ten sites and 9 of them are used for building links to your 1 main site that makes you money, that main one would be the "money site" :) and the other 9 would be satellite sites if you will.

Perhaps something like a wordpress or blogger blog. Then the money site (with the keyword in the domain name) is just a single stand alone page.

For example, lets look at your site you are advertising.
http://www.moneysitecontent.com/

You have a Home, How to, Samples, About pages. Would those all be considered your money site or just 1 of those pages?

The whole site... moneysitecontent.com is my money site... not just 1 page.

If it was one page it would have been called money page xD
 
ok i get that.

but lets say i buy a domain like buy-sunglasses.com and put a chitika ad block on it.

then do i create all the tier 1 and tier 2 stuff pointing to just that 1 URL?

or should i have pages like:
buy-sunglasses.com/products.html
buy-sunglasses.com/designs.html
buy-sunglasses.com/reviews.html
etc

and have ad blocks on all of them?

EDIT:
also when people search in Google for "buy sunglasses" am i trying to get just my main URL of buy-sunglasses.com to rank?

Build links to the pages you want to rank.

Also build links to the inner pages as it will help your over all site.
 
old thread, but a question: do I put ads on my tier1,2... sites and monetize on those too? or do you guys mainly stick with the main money site for monetizing?

Bumping this question, altho I think its good to monetize all the tier sites aswell. Something is better than nothing on the tier sites, isnt it? :D
 
it is adsense also money site? or it just blog with ppc monetizing site.. sorry i still newbie in IM..
 
Lol op you understand tiered link building but not the most basic concepts of a website

to answer your question your tier 1's point to as many inner pages as you want to rank. Usually 30% will be at homepage or so.
