Contacted customer service to stop the automatic renewal, but there's no option to cancel it on the website (using the web version), yet they still charged me. This useless software doesn't work and is still taking my money.

you should close your account permanently. seems the only option to avoid auto renewal.

Do you used your credit or debit card?
Contact your bank or card provider to disable automatic charging
