There is no "best method". There are lots of good methods here on BHW. You can take an existing method and add a twist to it and it may or may not work for you. It's "trial & error." Find something that seems to be working and then scale it up.
Most people give up too soon. They are looking for that "Magic Bullet", just like you are. HERE'S A SECRET: There is no magic bullet . . .
