Money doesn't make happy

I agree in part. If you spent your days working 24/7 it would be pointless as you’d only have money, which is worthless on its own.

But if you have a balance so that you can earn money then spend it on doing nice things with your family and friends, that’s worth while is it not?

Effectively you are trading a percentage of your time so that the remaining percentage of your time can be more enjoyable.

Who are you trying to convince here exactly? I love how when people give up on their dream of being richer the first thing they do is try to drag everyone else down too: money doesn't bring happiness, money is the root of all evil (lol) and so on.

You gave up. That's your problem.

personally for me money making is on the second plan. I like generating new ideas and testing them. If they bring money that's cool, if not - does not matter. It is a jourmey where i make fun and help put my mind ideas into action

Many people miss the point about making money. yeah it buys you stuff. But you know what's more important? It buys you your freedom.

Tired of being your boss' bitch boy? Quit on the spot.
Stressed out and need a break? Go on a vacation to destress.
Parents fell sick? Send them to the best doctors in the world for treatment.
See a worthy cause worth supporting? Send money to their donation box.

Here's one more thing about freedom. It has to be EARNED, unless of course you were born into money.

And that's why I absolutely love money.

Wow this thread is exploding, I see it coming up again and again... WTF guys... go search for some really interesting topics, don't waster your time on this one!

Be like this guy op https://www.forbes.com/sites/steven...ie-brokeis-now-officially-broke/#2aba76493a2a

Money for self is a good motivator for most people, But money to help others is a more noble cause. It's a bit easier to get up in the morning when you know you probably going to help someone that day rather than drain some poor sap.

I can't imagine a greater pleasure in life than being able to sustain that feeling you get when you help someone with no ulterior motives behind it. Just genuinely helped someone.

Shit thread btw

Money doesn't make you happy, but you need money to get a better life.
especially if you live in a big city.

Nobody:

OP: Money doesn't make you happy. it makes no sense to work for it.

You can give some of them to me! They always makes me happy so its no-lose for you and win for me :)

"Money is not a motivator but lack of it demotivates" that's what I learned in business school.
