I had a amazing girlfriend and we did everything together. I mean everything. I hate using this word, but I was in ____ with her.

A few months ago, I started my first online business. I poured my heart and soul into building it into everything from the nothing I started with. Eventually, I started blowing off my girlfriend. Didn’t answer texts for hours. Didn’t check her snapchats. Stop going out to do things together. The whole thing.

I worked so hard until I got my smma to a few thousand a month. I finally hit it, and since I’m 16, I live with my parents still so a lot of that money if free to be used on whatever.

Recently, I’ve decided to slow down growth a little bit just so I can enjoy being a teenager while I can. I asked her if she wanted to go out and do something together, and she told be she’s sorry but she had moved on to someone else who had time for her.

I have all of this money and all of these things but I don’t want it.

I don’t want money

I don’t want stuff

I don’t want fancy restaurants

I thought having more money would make me happy. But it doesn’t. I don’t want people in my life who are around me for money. I want my girlfriend who cared about me for who I was when I had nothing.

As you grow older you will realise time management is an important quality

you are only 16 I can assure you, you will make an awful lot more mistakes in the coming years :)

Money cant buy happiness but money can buy anything to make you happy

I can’t buy my girlfriends love back. She doesn’t care about money, she cares about who I was. She’s cares that I totally neglected her and only decided to go out with her again once It was convenient for me.

She was one of the most genuine people to me and I treated her like a dog

Being broke won't buy you happiness, either. Better to have money than to not have it. I'm going to say what the people on the bodybuilding forum say: "Disregard sloots, acquire aesthetics". This applies to the business world, too. You should be learning how methods work before rushing into things. You are 16 years old. Your life has barely just begun. If the young lady left you because of some petty reason then it wasn't meant to be to begin with. Besides, relationships are a 50/50 thing. It takes two to tango. It was your fault as well as hers. That's how life works.

Either try to work it out or let her go and back to the drawing board this journey goes.

Your mistake was not hiring someone to do the work for you so you could spend time with her.

Work smarter not harder

I thought everything would be better if I just did it personally, it would be better but it totally backfired.

I totally understand how you feel. Unfortunately, somehow I can identified myself with you... I lost almost all people that were before in my life because I was not finding to much time for them while I was starting my business... friends, girl that I was crazy about and also I disconnect myself from my family...

Yea, stupid mistake, but at least now I know what is important and what is not... sometimes you need a slap in your face from the world to see it :D

Money can't buy you happiness but money can buy you freedom so you can CREATE the time for person you care about. If you don't have money you would be frustrated, negative and stressful all the time (because hey, you need to make money for basic needs), with money you can be more positive, more flexible and more available for others.

Don't get me wrong, you can be happy and positive with basic income but it's so much better with more money :)

Don't worry Mate, seriously, I know it hurts now but you are still very very young, you are going to meet lots of girls and eventually women who are going to have an impact on your life, you will look back on this with a smile as your first relationship that failed.

Enjoy yourself, you are young but still stay focussed, earn some money, you can have both, a partner that loves you AND a healthy bank account.

I appreciate the wise words, @Asif WILSON Khan

Keep on growing. Women will be coming and going.
It's innevitable part of life.

that's life, you need to balance all areas of your life, that's the hard part.

girls are every where, lots of them, girlfriends goes and comes; you are only a teenager, you will get a new girldfriend, that's for sure.

don't waste your time thinking you want nothing more than your ex-girldfriend because that is a waste of time and time is the more valuable resource, because you can't reuse time, this mean all the time you will waste thinking non senses for a heart breaking will not come back to you to get used it in other things.

think wise, move on you too, go out, keep going with your online business and keep living.
