    Hello guys,

man i found a crazy guy.
He's a german "rapper" and it is unbelievable. He is really weak, but in the time span of a few weeks he achieved 1,7 million views, he was in the tv, has features with other famous rappers. But he is really weak, everybody tells so.

As far as i know his job has to do something with "media", but dont know what exactly.

Its crazy men, im a musician myself and i need to find out how he did accomplish that.

    Check it out:

Its a mystery for me ...

Does anyone have an idea how he did become so famous?

He's from vienna, austria and the track everybody is talking about (dreh den swag auf) is a translation of the song turn my swag on from soulja boy.
As you already mentioned, he's really really weak, his songs sound like they were recorded with a headset.
He's getting hyped because he is a guy that knows how to entertain people, he's living the swag-style like his american rolemodels souljaboy and co what is really untypical for an austrian/ german musician. This might be the main reason for his fast career. But with all his posing around with gucci stuff and expensive chains he is more somebody to laugh about than a serious musician.
i think he got that famous because it doesn't matter how drunk you are, you can still chant his songs.
so if you want to get famous for stuff like that, ...
and by the way, in my opinion all the "famous" german rappers just get features from him to promote their new stuff none of them really thinks that moneyboy is a good rapper...
oh and he's not working in the media, i'm not really sure whether he even has a job....

You have got to be kidding me. i thought this was a joke, i can rap ten times better than this guy and I don't even like rap. It sounds like he recorded this track on his iPhone.

If he works with the media, he probably has some experience with social networking.

If you get the ball rolling on a YT video, it will pick up momentum by itself. I wouldn't be surprised if he got some BH views on his video/channel to bring him up in his country's ratings.

Well i don't know but it pisses me off.
Im a rapper too, i got lots of talent and i also have some fans. But i bet, if i would have uploaded his video, the song would never ever get so many views. There was for sure some other kind of promotion, but i just dont know how he did it.

    It sucks.

I looked at the video and it's track record and I think that he he didn't get that many views just by luck.. at look at it, it was planned by some smart guys to make it viral.... or he was VERY lucky :p

First of all, he's clearly no musician, which makes it very funny.. and people like to share video's of stupid people... that's is the main reason why he got this famous in a short time. Can't say if he really is that bad or if it's just a joke, But only a funny video is not enough to explain it's popularity.

Secondly, the video is of a very high quality, shoot by someone who known what he's doing with a high quality cam. The video is just bad because the guy doesn't has any style.

Also the video went viral using different social media sources. I see that the video is shared on many German blogs and a lot by twitter & facebook. This is probably done by "seeding" the video. With this I mean that the creators of the video spread the link of the video to a lot of German based blogs and spread it to several twitter & facebook accounts. If the video is of a good quality, then this initial seeding will be enough to make the video go viral.

Basically you can recreate this viral effect by 1) have a good/funny song, 2) good quality video, 3) good seeding strategy. Only thing you then need is a bit of luck, or enough money to buy the luck :D....

He maybe knows the right persons in the german music industry, they have the connections and money to make any song go viral :)

BlackHat is sooo usefull to get a good comedy video going viral.

I have a friend who is so funny, you don't believe it. He makes fun of people in front of their face, and still looks that serious, as he is reading the news on a TV-channel.

We have made already a lot of ideas, have some very, very hot girls ( will be used as thumbnail for videos, to get horny guys clicking ;) ) and now only a very good HD camcorder (like $1.000<) is missing, and we will be starting recording the recording. + stuff like microphones, and an hidden cam for the comedy dude.

This is what most BlackHat people are generally weak at, offering GOOD stuff, instead of forcing people to see crap videos.

The kind of the "street comedy" we will be doing is already famous in the TV ( or was some time ago ) , now the dude doing it so to famous to continue, as all people on the street already know him. Talking about the German YouTube comedy channels, there are only a hand of guys doing stuff more or less good.
