Whats up BHW I have a few questions Im stomped on

When you copywrite I see saying some kind of money back guarantee helps the consumer feel comfortable purchasing your product. I have no problem with this because I hope to put out quality products but how do you go about weeding out the genuine people and the people who just want to get over on you? If you put a money back guarantee or your sales page are you legally bind to honor it?

And on sales pages I see alot of people putting logos of companies as as seen on: CNN, MSNBC, etc. Is that legal? Is using other famous people like actors as an example not to say they use the product legal?

For example: Mel Gibson use to suffer from chronic depression.... (If I selling a anti depression audiobook or whatever)

Are these things legal?

if it is not trademarked, then why not
but if the name or logo is a trademark you will end up getting a lawsuit

U.S. Federal Trade Commission is taking a very negative view on unsubstantiated claims, fake or pseudo-endorsements and unauthorized use of trademarks/Logos...proper disclosure statements are starting to appear on some sites like these to try to shield off the wrath of the FTC.

Not sure if I would feel safe swimming those kind of site-design or sales page waters. Could be risky, but then we all have our own tolerances. ;-)
