    Hi All,

I just wanted to ask a quick question before I headed out. I'm looking into monetizing some affiliate sites I have abit more, and I'm thinking of content locking some of my stuff, I was actually thinking of content locking my hoplinks!

Anyway has anyone done this? And what sort of ratios of people fill out the surverys on AVERAGE?

    thanks again,
    Gilesy

Anyone know anything about the ratios of people who fill content locked surveys?

Really depends on a lot of things...like what are you locking, are you framing e-mail submits or using a network-provided gateway, where the traffic is from, etc...

I know what your saying... I'm just thinking of some aff sites I have that could do with more monetizing... I don't mean to be akward but my niches are pretty broad.

At the moment im literally just starting on some youtube methods now but I'm new to this part of marketing and wondering what to expect numbers wise so I understand if I'm doing well or not...

Again I don't mean to be vague, I'm asking more of a generalised question!

All right, well on a site of mine with 83% organic visits, I've seen days of up to 25% conversion with framed offers, but on my viral Facebook websites, it's usually like 11% on a legit incentivized gateway.

Why would you content lock hoplinks, this is mighty bizarre???.

Content lockers are usually reserved for file downloads of movies, music and software or to hide valuable website content before someone successfully fills out a survey or offer.

    Agreed.

I think your visitors will be pissed if they have to do a survey only to unlock your hoplink to a product they probably don't wanna buy. Use the locker for something like pictures, movies, or downloads.

Not to sound like a right asshole or anything, but I don't care if my visitors get pissed off! They're not my friends. The sites I'm talking bout are of no real value to me anymore so I don't care bout the visitors.

I gave ye some thanks there artizhay, I'll try work off those stats for the moment... That was helpful.

The amount of visitors that will fill out a survey depends on your traffic. If you're not giving your users anything of value or something that they can easily find elsewhere - expect to get a close to 0% conversion rate.

On the other hand, if you have something that everyone REALLY wants you can have a very high conversion rate and EPC.

If you're interested in setting up a content gateway with high conversions send me a PM or reach me on AIM and I'll help you out.
