Monetizing youtube rap/hip hop videos??

Anyone want to help me brainstorm real quick?
Basically I upload hot new songs, I mean like a couple of weeks before they hit mainstream radio.

maybe just watermark the videos with my affiliate landing page or blog for hip hop bling/clothes/beats? You think this would be a profitable campaign?

yea thats what I was thinking...I'm just looking for a good ringtone affiliate program that would actually have hip hop/rap ringtones, to no avail.

Jamster has hip hop/rap ringtones. I know they are available through Commission Junction, Neverblue and Hydra.
 
yeah that can be profitable but youll have alot of competetion so youll need to get songs as soon as they come out and put them up.
 
yea I mean I get new songs everyday...its just a matter of getting hits on the video...
 
but these new songs wont be on jamster/ringtone sites as they are way too new... right???
 
There's lots of ringtone affiliates out there. A lot of CPA companies have them. That's not the hard part. You will have to get people to your videos. If you can effectively get real views to your video, you'll see conversions to your ringtone offers.
 
thumbplay.com has a huge directory of music ringtones with sound clips and I've seen them have hiphop ringtones available for really new released songs that I couldn't find anywhere else including ringtones of songs that aren't very popular.
 
don't worry if the exact songs arent on jamtones. just convince your traffic that they will be there. ill usually take any song thats popular and say "get this ringtone at xxxxx.com" not knowing of caring if they have the ringtone.

but yea if u are putting out new hip hop stuff thats not out yet, just say they are on jamtones or whatever ringtone offer.
 
Or you can redirect the traffic to my RapBattleTube site.
 
For the redirection your cpa website needs to have a post back feature so that you can redirect from there on other wise it is not possible.
