Monetizing Websites - Adsense, affiliates and the rest

I'm still new to the SEO world and there is a question I can't seem to find answer for, I know that Adsense is considered "The Best" CPA network but I don't understand what makes one CPA network better than the other?

- is it hard to get acceped to some cpa networks?

- do some cpa networks don't pay?

- what cpa network would you recommend to me besides adsense? (as a beginner)

- are there any other ways to monetize traffic besides affiliates and cpa networks?

- are banners used the same way as pop ups ? (meaning they are also depend on getting clicked on)

Depends, if you just sell ad space to someone with a banner and they pay you a lump sum for the placement clicks aren't important for you. However if you're using Google Adsense or other networks like it your being payed by the click.

Adsense isn't CPA its ppc network. Cpa means Pay Per action. PPC is Pay Per Click. Now what kind of CPA you need depends on your traffic, where it comes - what they are looking for. Good network which pays on many niche is clickbank, but you need the traffic which is ready to buy something - not only fill their email or zip.

When do you apply for a CPA/PPC/Affiliate network? should I first develop a site and rank it and then apply? or it's ok to apply and put ads from the get go?

its better to build a site first. I've learned that the more "legit" your site looks, the easier it is to get approved and also, the faster.

Agree with KeijoKala. CPA network is like clickbooth, ewa, neverblueads, etc.

Hard to get accepted at times especially if you dont have traffic yet

Adsense is not CPA. Its a PPC network.
CPA networks are those like Peerfly, Leadbolt.
