Hi,

I've been a long lurker here and got a question for people who may have experience with this.

I recently launched a tv/movie links website, it's currently pulling in about 1.5k UVs/day which will hopefully be growing and was wondering about best monetizing options I have?

I've searched the forum but haven't found a proper answer to this since I don't want to use forced ads like CPAIead. For the moment I've put on adsense and eCPM is about $0.7 :(

Thanks

Please include alternative contact in PM since I cannot send PM's

Try putting Adsense ONTOP of the video for a few seconds before the movie starts and randomly as it plays. There's also ads you can play before the video starts such a short video ads. I think Mochi Ads still has them.

Not worth wasting an adsense account on IMO. Look at what the bigger sites are doing, but for that kind of traffic $0.70 CPM is pretty good.

Hey, its been how long you have created your website?
Also, please check PM, need some help!

Last time I checked these movie sites were facing heavy pressure from the feds, however, forced ads perhaps are still your best bet.

If you value your adsense account, keep it clear of this website, trust me:D

@tuesday10:
Are you saying that we better not use our adsense accounts on movie sites? Well, can I know the reason mate? :-)

Would you like to share your secrets to generate traffic...:D

I know that adsense doesn't approve copyrighted material so I was testing it on some other account while it lasted.

All big sites seem use CPM and those "download video" type affiliates. I was hoping for advice on that and which networks perform the best.
I can push the traffic much more but I'm holding off putting any more effort into this until I turn it profitable.

I'm sorry I cannot share my traffic methods. My site is not just another streaming site. I've got custom made script, 5-10 sources per episode and 30% of visitors are returning ones.

I think you mean 0.07 and not 0.70, otherwise this is good conversion rate. This seems a very cheap way of making money for a cheap person, I would suggest something more upmarket. There are lots of members on here who will help you.

Yeah try that have get your account banned.

My advice dont do it.. you might get away for a month or 2 .. but eventually you will get banned for copyright content.

just lost a 8k account last month for doing the above.

Hey man, I run a movie site affiliate program open to all that pays $34 for every sale you send us:

http://themoviehome.com/affiliates.html

Feel to join.

graboid is non-intrusive and allows blackhat, it will put a download movie button below the video

1.) What is your problem with forced cpa offers as long as the offers allow incentivised traffic. Go to Adscendmedia and you will find of tons of incentive email submits.

2.) Use Content blocker and link to netflix and tell them to get a free trial account (won't convert to well but on the other hand your playing with pennies at the moment)

3.) Sign Up with LoudMo and tell them they need to download the VLC or some other movie player in order to watche the movie.

Content locking is probably your best bet in making good money with these sites. PM me and I can show you what offers we have that you can run on your website.

Content locking is obviously the worse thing to do, I don't care how old this thread is, suggesting he locks his content is basically telling him to dehydrate his sprouting plant, his site was nowhere near ready for ads at the time of posting, what ads could you really put an a service site with that traffic without losing 90% of it? ESPCIALLY WITH CPA FFSSSSSSS

None of the leading sites are using content blockers, so when they land on this new site of his, they will be clicking the Xit like crack to a crackhead.

It makes me laugh how all the miricle-monetizing-millionaires on this forum think CPA is the answer to everything, when the truth is, unless you have truly unique content... CPA DOES NOT WORK! If I land on your mediocre website and you're shoving CPA in my face, I'm gonna click the X within a blink of landing on the site, and return to google to find a bigger and better site than yours.

CPA is for pages with... I dont know... Justin Biebers real phone number, a viral free download or... instructions on how to grow a real money tree.

CPATank now accepts any traffic. Nearly impossible to get banned once you are approved.
