Hello,

I am attempting to monetize the Gospel. Currently I am using the following tools.

Perplexity to create images
Fedica to post to Pinterest, X, tumblr, blue sky and a few others.
Facebook Business Suit to post to Facebook and Instagram.
YouTube to post to YouTube
CapCut to make reels and shorts

My plan is to make 3 image posts a day and 3 reels a day.

The posts go to my Facebook page and groups, as well as the social media sites listed above.

The reels are posted to tiktok, YouTube, Facebook and Instagram.

Currently I am tracking YouTube subscribers, Facebook page followers and tiktok followers.
Facebook page followers 279
YouTube subscribers 23
TikTok followers 10

Living in Canada I cannot monetize tiktok with ads, not sure how I will earn anything at all but my goal now is to build a Christian religious following.

You're doing great
just keep posting and building your community, and opportunities will come!

Be careful with perplexity and their TOS over ownership and attribution.

Remember that publishing a lot of content is good, but I think quality and interaction are more important than quantity, especially if your audience is small. So, this stage should focus on discovering what people need. If the community grows, donations or resources you create can come later. You must build trust; that's the most important thing.

It has been a single day and YouTube shorts is wild.

Life has been a bit busy this weekend so I haven't had a chance to post as much as I want but with minimal posting I still seeing crazy views on tiktok and YouTube shorts.

My concern with YouTube shorts is I have 10 watch hours thousands of views 83 subscribers but in my urn and monetization page I have zero valid views towards the 10 million required for monetization.

Obviously I'm just starting so I shouldn't worry too much about this but it is a bit disconcerting.

I am wondering what people think about monetization. I'm considering starting a blog just on blogger and creating a devotion page linking to Amazon products that quote unquote I use in my devotion to the lord. Then point Pinterest and YouTube shorts two said web page. Then applying for The tictok shops.

Obviously I'm not getting the fuse to get any sales yet but this is what I'm considering.

Took a big step. Validated my YouTube account. Now I can add links. I have a blogger setup and I am going to attempt to write posts like "10 Christian Decorations" or something like that, something I can turn into a reel and into a set of pins to easily share.

To increase engagement and monetization, consider using a call-to-action in your posts and reels, such as asking viewers to visit your website or sign up for a newsletter. You can also utilize affiliate marketing by promoting Christian products or books in your content. Track the performance of your posts and reels using analytics tools to see what's working and what's not.

ran the same volume play with fedica a couple years back, scheduling out posts across like 6 platforms simultaneously and it just... died. the algorithm on pinterest especially tanked my reach because it flagged the repurposed content as spam since the images were too similar across posts, had to scrap the whole batch approach and slow way down

Appreciate you sharing your journey. your consistency and clear plan really stand out. Building a faith-based audience takes time, and you’re already laying a strong foundation across multiple platforms. Stay patient, keep delivering meaningful content, and your community will grow naturally. Wishing you continued success and impact in spreading your message.

I can't get over how well YouTube shorts are performing.

I'm posting 3 to 4 shorts a day on YouTube Facebook and tiktok.

3 to 4 posts a day with fedica to many other social sites. Nothing drives traffic like shorts and reels!

Tiktok seems to be dead for me.. Not sure why but posting there takes no time at all.

I have eliminated capcut from my workflow, now I make images and allow each platform to use their AI editor to pick runtime and music for me. It's working well for YouTube and Facebook.

I signed up for maillite and I'm making a simple landing page to capture emails.

At this point I'm hoping my path for monetization is Adsense and offers through my blog or email blast!

For maillite I set up my landing page but my button to sign up does nothing. That is my next hurdle!

I am hoping to use the blog as a platform to explain psalms and verses.

Today I upload 9 YouTube shorts created in YT Create. They have gotten almost zero views.

I was hoping to simplify my workflow but I may have hindered myself.

Regardless the last week of growth has been amazing.

I can't lie I am loosing faith in this.

My YouTube shorts are getting 0 views. Tiktok and Facebook are doing well, but my big hope was YouTube.

Perhaps I need to pivot back to images spread across all platforms with fedica. Then occasionally pepper in an Amazon product or clickbank product.

With that

Facebook slowed as I was not posting as much. I think I need to stick with it and at least try. I got an initial boost from the algorithm testing my content as ChatGPT put it.

For Christian content, what works best at the beginning is to grow a community. When you have more people, you can monetize with Ko-fi type donations, downloadables (devotionals, wallpapers) or a mini-ebook. Facebook tends to perform better in this niche than TikTok, so keep pushing there.

Can you define for ko-fi for me please.

I see the potential in Facebook. I am posting my content into groups as well. Groups have massive reach.

Ko-fi is a platform where people can support you with small donations, like buying you a coffee. It doesn't require subscriptions or anything complicated. The website is: https://ko-fi.com.

And yes, Facebook groups have a huge reach, especially for Christian content. Continuing to post there is one of the best ways to grow quickly.
