Monetizing site with CPA

Here is my problem: I have built a site where people need something from me, so I have built my own content locker, where my visitors have to check one of my offers in order to view what they want. The site is so general, that I can't really find an exact niche for it.

On the first day I had about 100 clicks on the offer, but no conversion...this is sad, because I was expecting at least a few bucks. I am currently accepted to only one CPA network (the rest are pending approval) and this one has very few offers which accept incentives.

My questions are the following: what type of offers do you recommend me so I can make a few cents per click on average? What CPA network do you recommend me? Should I go with sales, sign-ups, e-mail submits? What would be a decent profit per 100 or 1000 clicks?


If anyone gives me a solution which will bring me enough money, I promise I will make a donation to them.

Go with Email Submits ... And pick the offers by checking out their epc ....

find email/zip submit offers. they are easy and will bring you some cash

The problem is that in my network there are very few email submits that allow incentives (such as content lockers), I need to wait to be approved to more networks.

Anyway, thanks for the answers and I would still like to know about how much money per click I should expect

with my current content locker, I usually have 2 to 5% conversion rate, 100 clicks and 3 conversion is no surprise for me, sometimes I get 400 clicks and only 15 conversion. let's not forget the scrubbing factor..

it depends on what you are selling...selling a 100$ item won't convert as much as an email submit
