hey all, anyone have any thought about monetizing porn videos?

theres 1 thing i have a ton of and that is porn videos. Lots of niche specific ones too.

I see places like megaporn give points per video view.

megaporn dot com /video/?c=rewards

what if you were to mass upload videos with optimized keywords and bank on the views.

or how about uploading vids and adding in the comments section a link to your CPA offer. Or water marking the video with the link?

interested to hear some thoughts

Only down side to mobile payments is the networks take a big chunk of
the cheese 40% to 60%. in some cases

all though i'm sure i read some where this might be changing soon.
 
Create your own porn site. Upload them and offer premium membership.
 
In case you haven't noticed, adult is dying rapidly due to all the free tube sites and making any money in that industry has become very difficult. Were I you, I would not waste my time.

Compile them into dvds and sell them via online and offline classifieds regardles of the tube sites dvds still sell.

Add a post card inside the dvd case to an adult dating cpa

compile dvds from them.. would that be violate copyright agreements
 
register a domain name, park on sedo or any parking affiliate program that allow porn, watermark your videos with your domain name, upload them to as many tube sites as possible, and don't forget to replace the final (cum) scene with something like "see full scene on "yourdomain.ext"

work: not much
fees: nothing except domain/s
revenues: more than 0
best niche (imho): fetish/bdsm (ctr is about 25/30%)
 
After the dead of PornBB it is very hard to make money with adult videos. I used to make lots of bucks with sharing files on PBB.
 
I heard from my experienced porno friend (who used to make tons back in the days) that porn is dead too.

Very true. I work with adult niche and I notice a huge decrease in earnings last year/this year.
Its getting harder to make money with adult niche.
 
Of course porn uploading violates copyrights unless it is amateur not on any site or you shot it by yourself. But another fact is with the porn copyright infringements are the easiest to get away. Most of the adult networks don't bother to sue and track the infringements, while the software companies will follow you to dead. I read some people in USA being fined for downloading porn, but this is rare situation.

If you find a group of people who are under-catered to, most are willing to pay. There's also demand for higher-quality stuff. Tube sites generally offer low quality video for streaming purposes.
 
why not make your own tube site via iframed videos from another site.

AS someone who has been in IM since 95 and back then there was only one game in town.. Adult! I have seen alot of changes. and although some niches still work they are dying also! because as quick as you find a niche someone will rip your content and make a free site out of it! Oh yeah you can go through the effort of shutting them down but they open elsewhere. If you are new to IM some of the best advice I can give you is "Stay away from Adult". Quick route to chapter 9.
 
i still make money from porn videos, you just have to know the right niche videos which are in demand.

Well, it depends on the niche and also because there's so many free porn sites now where you can view and download porns in full version for just a click of a mouse and its really free.
 
I too dabbled in it in the late 90's and still have a few sites today. There is still money in it but it sure isn't what it used to be. Stiff competiton (no pun intended) with free sites and everybody ripping off your content. Still a market for the "amateur" stuff even in places like ebay. Take a look on how many simple 4" X 5" glossy porn pics are sold on ebay every day. That and the "homemade" vidoes still sell. They even allow you to pay for adult stuff with Paypal now on ebay.
