Monetizing my sites

I have 3 sites, 2 are a few years old and 1 is new. I am adding adsense and I am going to add a blog to 2, a competition on 1 to get e-mails. I have joined relevant forums and placed comments and I am in the process of writing articles to be submitted. As you van tell I am a noob but I have done plenty of reading. Any advice please what I can do now to get a passive income from these.

passive income coming after years of working lol , and damn it loads of investments into sites witch can be put on auto run mode

Get traffic first. Think about how to best monetize them later.

In the meantime, slap adwords on them and get the traffic rolling in.
