It's been a while since I've done anything to make money online, but over the past few months I started a YouTube channel that's getting a small following in what I believe to be a good niche for making a little money.
I'm not too worried about sharing the niche as the videos I make require a lot of time and a specific skill-set. Basically, I'm creating a live "tab" to show people how to play songs on a specific instrument. So far I have 55K views in total on 99 videos, and I just hit 300 subscribers. All of my videos get at least 3-400 views, some reach the thousands. 95% of my content has copyrighted material as I'm using the songs in the videos (the other 5% is my own material), but I've actually gotten the OK from certain labels to continue uploading.
Given all of this information, are there any decent ways to monetize this traffic? Obviously I can't use AdSense, but I was wondering if CPA or something like that would be worthwhile in this niche. I'm not looking for huge profits, but if I could pull in a passive $10/day or so and continue to grow it by uploading more videos I'd be happy with that. I have considered live streaming myself creating these tabs and trying to get donations, but passive income would be nice to have as well.
