Monetizing Instagram

First of all, I am sorry if this is a stupid or a n00b question... so please do not get too mad.

I consider myself quite decent in Facebook marketing (have a 30k and one 5k page) what is generating me a little bit of money (thought the focus is long term) through sales and affiliate links.

Also I do make some money using PoD platforms (mostly Merch by Amazon), and have a few KDP books online as well.

That said, while I understand the concept of Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Tumblr, etc, I fall short on understanding Instagram. So I am in the process of building a few Instagram pages based on my existing and a few new niches. The problem however is, how could I generate any money from them? To my surprise Instagram does not allow any outgoing links to be posted. So lets say I have a product or service I want to sell/promote... but would not that be extremely difficult or even impossible? I mean, how many people would go on and copy the link (on a mobile phone no less!), and enter it into a browser?

Yes, I know about raising brand awareness, etc, but as a small fish (at the moment) I am not concerned with building a brand (at least not on Instagram) at this stage. I know I am missing out on something here... I mean, I must be missing out on something, right?

(I haven't used Instagram yet so feel free to disregard my opinion) I feel like the way to go would be too just have an easy to remember domain that you could watermark your images with maybe? If it's something pretty short and catchy I think you'd still get some traffic without a direct link.

If there is a way to add direct links to your profile, it will appear below your photo and your data so that anyone who enters to view your profile.

You give the editing profile, in the third option you can add your web page.

Immediately, the one that enters your profile with just one click can enter without having to copy and paste said page

Just go to "edit profile" and change your website URL.

Monetizing Instagram is quite simple.

If you're selling your own product, post something on your story like "check out this awesome (product name), link on profile."
