Monetizing copyrighted video?

I managed to sneak a film past the content id system and in the past week I've gotten almost 100k views on it. Of course I'd like to monetize it but I'm nervous that I might be risking something more then a DMCA take down if I create a paper trail to my name - it's worth pointing out here I'm an American.
If I can find a way around that is the process for enabling non-skippable ads automated? Seems hard to believe a person actually reviews all these things...

I would suggest not spending your time with this, you can't make money out of it.
 
How long has the video been up?

I upload 'altered' music that gets through and I monetize it, but once in a while it will get caught sometime later, days to a few weeks sometimes.

It's been up for 10 days it's an older film about 15 years but still well known
 
You must meet these minimum requirements in order to monetize your videos:

  • Your content is advertiser-friendly.
  • You created the content or have permission to use it commercially.
  • You are able to provide documentation proving you own commercial rights to all audio and video content.
  • Your content complies with YouTube's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.
 
You won't make any money on it. I have a video on you tube with over 150000 views and it only makes me 5 cents here and there. Its not worth the risk. If you were to do it I would suggest editing it and adding an intro and ending. Still not worth the effort. Original content is your best bet!!!
 
Don't even bother with this, video will be taken down as soon as you monetize it
