Well, I recently finished coding a browser extension, but I have no idea how to properly monetize it. At first I planned to release it without trying to monetize it, but decided otherwise so now I'm looking for any advice someone has to offer.

Well the obvious thing would be to somehow incorporate ads in it. Since you didn't write what the extension is about I can't really help you but I'm sure you can figure it out.
Also, maybe you could create a stand-alone app (or android / iphone app) that expands on the extension and charge $1-5 for it?

Thanks for the replies. Currently unable to disclose more information about the browser extension though, sorry. I was searching around yesterday and came up with a network called sterkly, though I have been unable to get in contact with someone from there. Anyone know any networks that offer similar services?

I don't think many people are making money off of their browser extensions. The reality is you either have to charge upfront, or pray that kind souls give you enough $5 donations you make a respectable amount of money because they love the extension.
