So, I've started my blog 1 week ago. About 30k specific (?) searches per month, no competition really.

I'm getting about 600 visitors per day, etc etc. But no AdSense clicks.

How can I turn this traffic into money? I do not want to use any "off-the-scale" CPA or such, just some ad placing etc.

You don't give much info but try optimizing your Adsense to get some clicks first. Max number of ads, tweak the placement, put them right in the hot zone, tweak the colours to either match your theme or really stand out, put some keyword text right next to them so you get relevant ads etc.

Otherwise affiliate products in your niche, but we'd need to know what the niche is before we can suggest anything meaningful.

Well I have found that it really depends on what you have on the blog. I too have about 600 visitors to my blog and to give you an example. This sunday I got 15 clicks, small earning but was very happy with that.

This Monday, now I was hoping to get some clicks but I didn't get any clicks that day and yesterday 1 click..

So you can't really expect to get clicks every day with 600 visitors. And also it depends on what you have on the blog, and what people are looking for.

Put you're ads up top and in you're posts. Hint you need to change the < > " in the adsense code to get the ads to show in you're posts.
< = <
> = >
" = "

Blend the ads in with the page so that the border and background of the ad are the same as you're background color.
Work on getting more visitors that's what I would do for now.

The niche is about food.
So there's not many products to promote.

Got much US traffic? Free grocery and Walmart gift cards. There are equivalent grocery cards for CA / UK / AU.

Amazon: cook books.

Clickbank: tons of food and recipe related products.
