Monetizing AI music

You may start with Distrokid, it's will handle the rest to release to other store like apple, yt, spotify
Is it ok now to use a full AI generated song but add some instruments myself? Will it be considered AI-assisted, or still 100% AI? Asking this because since this month you can't monetize 100% AI generated music. You won't get any money from it. It needs to have sufficient human work to be considered AI-assisted and so you can monetize. My songs are 100% AI generated, but I've added some orchestration, some electric guitars here and there, just instruments, I couldn't change the structure of the song nor eliminate the instruments that AI has created and I don't want to.

Who says you cant monetize AI music? And what do you consider monetisation?
Uploading Ai music and playing/streaming it will def pay you!

Let me know what is the best solution so far?
It's the new laws since March 2025. You can google it. They call it the end of AI music (but not entirely)
"For example, if an A.I. generates a piece of music, a story, or an image entirely on its own, without any human input or creative direction, the resulting work would not be eligible for copyright. However, if a human significantly modifies or contributes creative elements to the A.I.-generated work, the human-authored aspects of the work may be eligible for copyright protection." And thus, you'll get paid.
BUT I'm not even sure if this is true or not.

AI music is still crap, maybe in a few years when it gets better
It was crap before SUNO released V4. It's absolutely amazing.

No. But you gotta listen it to believe it. You literally can't distinguish it from human work. Even voices. It produces masterpieces and lets competition years behind.
I've been using AI since a year ago or so and I was not so happy with the results, especially voices. Now it's a totally different story. There's a site that is using the SUNO V4 Engine as well and costs half the price, but SUNO's features are indispensable (like editing the song - even lyrics), so I prefer to pay more for all that it offers.

Yes, consistently. For eg, Metal. It will use "Heavy Metal" or any kind of "Metal" voices. The timbre we are accostumed to listen to on that specific genre. It's impossible to sound more realistic than that. This is with V4. V3.5 still left much to be desired. V4 voices suffered a big improvement, instrument separation and depth also improved alot, as well as more and more realistic instruments. It was an huge improvement rather than a minor upgrade. From my experience, of course. My IA model is highly trained at this point.
What's interesting about this is that you can make an album and earn money from it from streaming platforms, along many other ways. With SUNO V4 you can do state of the art music if you train your AI properly. I have tried all other AI's and there's no comparison (still).
I like to do my own production on the AI songs as well. Add some instruments, sounds, etc, from a DAW. Sometimes I'm able to improve them quite a bit. And this is good because Deezer, for example, won't consider these songs AI generated, but AI-assisted and that helps for the alghorithmic playlists. They won't recommend AI generated music (with no human work) for their algorithms. That's what I've read recently. They're using a sophisticated AI music detector.
