Monetizing a twisted Humor website

Hi,

Two weeks ago I made an twisted humor website, just for fun, because I had some time to chill and also because I love twisted/dark humor. Anyway, I was not checking stats on it at all but tonight I checked it and found out that it is getting thousands of unique visitors per day.

I guess it's time to make money off of it now.

So anyone knows what kind of ads I can put on this kind of website ?
Definitively not adsense because there are some NSFW pictures on it.
If someone have an idea, reply on this thread please.

This is the hardest type of website to put ads on since there's nothing for advertisers to put advertisements on your website. I would recommend you selling advertisements individually to see who wants to get it or alternatively you could use refferal links to earn money of that website.

Yeah you are right. Very hard to to put advertisements on it. I guess I will let it generate more traffic and then sell advertisements on it.

how bout building a list from your visitors n blasting your list with emails
every time your post something new. inside the emails you blast have
a few links that you have used a url shortener that pays you such as
adfly or linkbuck.. and how bout doing some affiliate marketing

Why not try affiliate marketing with one of those websites that make the controversial and funny t-shirts? Without mentioning any specific websites, some of the t-shirts that they sell are quite dark and twisted in terms of humour, and if that's the main content of your blog then you may already have the targeted visitors for this. You could just post a picture of a twisted humour t-shirt, and then affiliate link to where it can be purchased from. It's just a suggestion, but if it works well you may be able to sell your own t-shirts and make more money.

Maybe you can try selling adspace if you have thousand uv on you site. Or just try other adsense alternative.

My recommendation is too starting selling either branded T-shirts or else funny T-shirts related toyour website (e.g. the month's most succesful picture/joke). You could use websites such as cafepress and stuff to print them relatively cheap.
