Hi guys,

I have a site I want to monetize better. I'm currently making €200 a month from the site from adsense. Its pretty low I think for 70,000 visits a month but most of the traffic is mobile. I was wondering are there any other better ways to monetize it or to increase adsense revenue? Audience is mostly female teens.

Thanks :)

There's something seriously wrong with your numbers. You should check a Adsense optimization guide and how to improve CTR.

For sure man. I would find a way to start capturing some leads from those 70k uniques a month and develope a strategy to start selling those prospects something. Can you say affiliate marketing?

1. YOu need to start building an email list from your 70k uniques
2. Push notifications on that website would not be a bad idea either to extend reach
3. Develope a secondary monetization strategy. Adsense is a joke. Your audience is being under utilized. Consider affiliate marketing seriously.
4. Map out a simple autoresponder sequence that will start bringing more revenue in for your site
5. Build out a simple foundation funnel for the opt-in on your website so that you can recoup on any expenses you incur while driving traffic (either in time or money)

Hope that helps big dog. Good luck. 70k visitors a month is a lot man. You should be able to make good money off of that. Female teens and Mobile traffic though, outside of my area of expertise. Just need to work up a customer avatar on that dude. You got this.

Often is the case that affiliate marketing is a much profitable way to monetize your site than using ads.

One way is to just check which content is the most popular and then start to search for products with affiliate programs that offer related services or products. Or you can sign up to some of the big affiliate networks such as CJ for example, and search for partners through there. Then change the content appropriately to fill in the links. This is pretty much how I started back in the days.

Another way is to use a service that automatically converts some of the text in your content to affiliate links, I believe affilinet is one of the less intrusive and smart networks for that.

That's extremely low Adsense revenue - congrats on getting 70k visits per month. It's not an easy task to achieve.

Congrats on the numbers. I would check other affiliate networks that would be in your niche- I'm sure you could find better payouts than adsense. Is there a way you could work in product reviews to your site and become an Amazon affiliate? Could you dropship a product to these people? Also consider approaching individual companies that your audience uses and asking if they have affiliate programs you could participate in- cut out the middle man.

I would recommend adding other ads to your site. The most profitable thing on my site is a popunder ad, which also doesn't bother the users because they see it only after they left my site. If you want I can give you skype of my account manager in ad-maven. I get on their popunder about $4 cpm for EU traffic.

Thanks for the suggestions guys, really appreciate it.
Will try diversifying the income by putting some CPA offers and some amazon affiliate posts on the site.
The problem with adsense is that the CPC is pretty low of 0.2-0.3 per click and the CTR is low because of mobile and the screen space so all ads arent being seen.
