Monetizing a Porn Forum

Even after searching far and wide, I've yet to see much information on monetizing adult forums. Unlike normal forums, paid memberships aren't really an option. People expect ads with porn, but the business model of a forum involves getting people to come back day after day, not just click into some offer and never come back.

Right now, I have around 5k uniques per day, which obviously isn't too much, but I feel at this point it's definitely worth my time to start monetizing it. I hear people talk about Juicyads, Plugrush, and similar networks, but never in regards to forums.

If someone can point me in the right direction, I'd really appreciate it.

Most of my members are either contributors or spambots. I'm not going to advertise to my contributors - heck, I'd pay them to post. Besides, most members are more interested in earning money off download affiliate links than some dating eBook.

The people I need to advertise to is the guests. I usually have about 5 members online and hundreds of guests.

The main thing that I want to avoid is destroying the growth of the forum by turning it into garbage, while still profiting off visitors who wouldn't contribute anyway. I'm not sure if you're experienced on porn forums, but there isn't much "discussion."

Yeah,Crakrevenue is good as it pays you $1.50 - $3 for a free lead for cam sites. Also, an adult dating affiliate would be good.

lol m into adult things since 06. well thr'd be definitely plugins available for the forum script you using which can enable ads for guests only and skip the regd members.

I guess you could monetize through juicyads. they pay pretty good.

I just started using Plugrush but don't really like the way the ads look on the site so have just registered with CrakRevenue to see if it looks any better. I also have an AFF banner on the site. I'm really just testing at the moment to see how things will convert as it is a fairly new forum that does have some traffic. Will report back how I get on.
