Monetizing a Meme Site

Hey BHW,

Just put the finishing touches on making my own meme site - 9gag clone.
Got the site up and running perfectly, now I just need traffic.

I plan on going about gathering traffic via social media - mostly from a facebook fanpage I've made posting constant pictures,
the only problem is, I need a way to get started with getting the page viral.

any tips from anyone else who has made a fb fanpage successful, i just need to know how to get the ball rolling and start getting my first couple posts being spread.

I would look into getting a twitter or pinterest bot and getting traffic that way

For monetizing just use adsense and any CPM provider, you'll be fine

just search for lmao,rofl,lol haha, boy,girl,funny and other similar stuff on fb that way you'll find pages that are about funny stuff. Then go like peoples comments as your own fb page or share a post from your page as your personal account saying lol this pic is so funny.
